GrowMate is a collaborative project between Maynooth University and Dundalk Institute of Technology aimed at supporting older adults through inclusive agricultural technologies. By combining robotics and AI, the project explores new ways to enable meaningful, independent engagement in light gardening activities. GrowMate promotes wellbeing, digital inclusion, and ageing-in-place, while laying the groundwork for future innovation in assistive smart farming.
